Never Fearing Wild Things

A woman who loves the deconstruction/reconstruction of her faith.

Someone who loves trees and wind and feels close to God in the midst of them.

A woman who believes in capital “L” LOVE, forgiveness and compassion, but understands how very hard they are to actually live out. 

My name is Ruthanne Ward.  I am an Anglican Priest in the Diocese of Toronto which is a part of the worldwide Anglican Communion.  

Inspiration for The Title of this Site

Wendell Berry wrote in his poem “The Peace of Wild Things” :

I come into the peace of wild things
who do not tax their lives with forethought
of grief.

And St. John of the Cross in “The Spiritual Canticle: Song of the Soul and the Bridegroom” (vs. III) wrote: (translation – David Lewis)
